Biography Return to Control Panel Public Profile | Settings Creativity is God's life breath in each one of us! Sometimes we do not get to breathe for a very long time if ever, unless we dare to take the risk to find a creative path to walk on. Society and parental expectations seem to work against what is intended natural gifting. In 2010 I took oil painting classes in Williamsburg. I decided after a car accident to explore art. Bruce Combs - REACH BEYOND
Oh Suzanne! I can't believe that this is a photo and not a painting -- primarily because of the variety and subtle variety of colors and their arrangement. Just wonderful to spend time relaxing with its peace: a sameness in mood, quiet, so eye-restfull and satisfying. Yet there really is so motion, I think, often, in the many, many varieties. And is it like a sort of vertical panorama? I can't discern the point of view -- because I believe it is not from one spot, perhaps, but rather near and big bluebrown tree remains (lightening years ago?) -- hardly any of its pieces scattered among the lighter and softer colors (and texturesfeel?). And the leaves (my upper left corner) keep my view going up and down as much as this forgrounded tree trunk. Thank you so much for bringing all of us this beautiful view (our world need more beauty and peacefulness to desperately!) and if one is saddened that these leaves are already giving way to a winter that many people consider only barren, may they see this photo (and buy a copy to look at for cheer and grace in the added comfort of home, anytime and always). Thank you, again, Suzanne. Peace, etc., Bruce Combs
